About Our Tack

We use only top quality materials to bring you the BEST quality product!

LEATHER:

We mostly use hermann oak leather for our products. It is very strong and very durable. We may also use royal oak or harness leather or different exotic hides. This will be specified in each description of each product. Leather crafted by Weaver and Southpoint Saddlery, Suffolk Va.

PAINT:

We use the number ONE brand of leather paint for our custom work. These are products specifically formulated to be used on leather. Please remember the QUALITY of finished work will never be better than the quality of the materials used. This is why we use the BEST. Our paints have "flexing" and anti-mildew properties that contribute to a high-quality, long lasting finish. We properly prepare as well as correctly finish each piece. The finish from lesser quality products may look good at first, but often will not last.

CRYSTALS:

100% Swarovski Crystals

CARE AND CLEANING:

DO NOT use cleaner products on hand painted tack. For painted areas use a damp sponge or cloth and wipe gently. On crystal conchos you can use a damp soft toothbrush to clean around crystals. You can oil the back of your tack and unpainted areas like normal. Crystals can break and chip easily, so remember...if you handle your tack with care the longer it will last.
